What are the terms and conditions for cancellation?

 

The cancellation conditions described below apply only to customers who have booked their stay in one of our 4 domains in the South of France and who have made their reservation directly with L'Ami Soleil (via tel, email or website).

The general cancellation conditions and cancellation guarantee are not applicable to private sales, flashdeals and promotions distributed by our tour operator partners, nor to flash sales offered by L'Ami Soleil at certain times of the year.

Cancellation Policy

If you book your stay directly with L'Ami Soleil, you benefit from a free cancellation up to 2 months before the arrival date.

  • If you cancel between 60 and 30 days prior to arrival, 25% of the reservation is charged and non-refundable.
  • If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival, 100% of the reservation is charged and non-refundable.

As a L'Ami Soleil customer, you also benefit from a cancellation guarantee that allows you to cancel without charge when you are unable to travel due to illness, death, loss of employment, or pregnancy complications, always upon presentation of supporting documents.

CANCELLATION GUARANTEE OFFERED

As a L'Ami Soleil customer, you also benefit from a cancellation guarantee which allows you to cancel your stay free of charge (except for the 25€ administration fee) when you are unable to travel for one of the following reasons:

  • death (1st degreae),
  • reasons for illness,
  • hospitalization,
  • loss of employment.

This insurance is valid for any cancellation up to 2 days before your arrival date and imperatively upon presentation of official supporting documents (medical certificate, dismissal certificate, etc.).

SPECIAL CANCELLATION CONDITIONS - PRIVILEGE CARD

If you have a privilege card*, you benefit from better and more flexible cancellation conditions than others.

You can cancel without charge (except 25€ administration fee), for any reason, up to 15 days before the arrival date.

* on condition that the card belongs to you and is under the same name as the person who made the reservation.

Special COVID cancellation conditions

The cancellation conditions described below apply only to customers who have booked their stay in one of our 4 domains in the South of France and who have made their reservation directly with L'Ami Soleil (via tel, email or website). 

Following the COVID19 crisis, we have added some special cancellation conditions so that everyone can book their next vacation with peace of mind. 

In the following cases, 

  • the customer is covid positive at the time of the beginning of the stay;
  • the domain is closed for reasons related to Covid 19;
  • the client cannot travel for reasons of lockdown, border closures and/or quarantine measures to go to France or when returning home after vacation.

As a L'Ami Soleil customer, you will recover your entire budget. The refund will be made either in the form of a voucher valid until the end of 2022, or by refunding the amount already paid (within 60 days). 

If you wish, you may also change your dates of stay by postponing it to a later date (under conditions*).

* According to availability and subject to a supplement equivalent to the difference between the price of the initial stay and the price of the stay on the new dates.

For any cancellation or change to your booking, all you have to do is contact us by telephone or e-mail. You will not be charged any additional fees.

In the event of a cancellation, we will retain €15 from the amount paid.

The price that appears on your booking is just the rental price of your accommodation, as well as various charges such as water and electricity consumption.

Any supplements such as holiday taxes, final cleaning, bed linen hire, etc. are payable on site and should be requested when you make your booking (or on site if necessary).
